Job Overview : We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to join our team and drive sales of Oracle services in the Benelux and DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). As the Sales Director, you will be responsible to identify, develop and close new business opportunities in the region. Creating and implementing a sales strategy, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborate with a team of sales professionals. Your primary goal as individual contributor will be to meet and exceed sales targets, increase market share, and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for Oracle services in the region.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in potential client accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and delivery, to drive sales success.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Track sales performance and provide regular reports to management on sales, activities, and forecasts.
  • Manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets.
  • Train and develop the sales team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and product knowledge to succeed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends to remain competitive in the market.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services and generate leads.

Qualifications :

  • At least 5 years of experience in solution sales in the IT services industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Oracle services portfolio, including technology, cloud, and applications.
  • Strong understanding of the region with existing relationships and contacts within the industry.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Fluency Dutch and / or German and English. Additional languages are a plus.
