To support our Structural Heart Business we are currently looking for a full-time (40 hours) customer-oriented field Sales Representative with excellent communication skills and a natural ability to create business opportunities. You will play a key role in account development and market share growth, for the region of mid / east Netherlands. With a passion for helping patients combined with a customer focused mindset, you will make a significant difference in the Netherlands. This is a great opportunity for a person with strong relationship management skills and a few years of commercial experience.

A Day in the Life

We offer you a position where you can work independently while improving the lives of people suffering from (severe) Aortic Stenosis. You will spend much time in the hospitals, where you engage your customers with the right tools and solutions. You collaborate with the rest of the team and other cross-functional colleagues to ensure the customer needs are fully . You actively generate leads or sales opportunities which eventually lead to a sustainable collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve agreed targets on sales and market share growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
  • Negotiation of long-term contracts.
  • Take a broader organisational view of account management, with a focus on patient pathways optimisation and market development.
  • Managing accounts and coordination of diverse account activities.
  • Identify and execute sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with diverse functions to meet customer demand.
  • Optimizing tender management in the region.

Must Haves

  • Minimum a Bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrated track record with a minimum of 5 – 7 years of sales experience, preferably in cardiology or structural heart
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English
  • Advanced presentation and negotiation skills
  • Strong computer skills (MS office)
  • Used to work independently, strong work ethics
  • Goal oriented with an entrepreneurial and proactive spirit
  • Living in mid / east of the Netherlands
  • Nice to Haves

  • Product launch, territory planning and forecasting experience is a plus
  • Having experience with working in a complex and fast-paced environment, able to manage multiple projects
