Lead Software Engineer

As a Lead Software Engineer , you will oversee and guide software engineering activities throughout all phases of our projects—from definition and design through implementation and commissioning. You will monitor, manage, and ensure quality, timelines, and costs. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Project Engineers and other engineering disciplines.

Your responsibilities also include contributing to the internal development of our standard software concepts and ensuring their implementation and documentation.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Industrial Automation, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in developing and commissioning technically complex systems.
• Experience working in a project-driven organization.
• Proficiency with PLC software such as Allen Bradley , Siemens , and TIA Portal .
• Bonus : Experience with Robot software (ABB, Fanuc), Eplan , and servo software .
• Strong organizational skills—you can plan and coordinate both your own work and that of your team.
• Creative, persuasive, and resourceful mindset.
• Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30% of the time).
