Senior Software Engineer

RED Global are currently working with a leading organisation that are searching for a Senior Software Engineer, that will lead cross-team security initiatives with a focus on cloud technologies, secure software development, and export control compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Defined, communicated, and executed items on the Greenhouse Security Roadmap in alignment with business needs.
• Mentored engineers and architects on secure cloud design and best practices.
• Designed and reviewed technical solutions with a focus on security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Enabled secure developer environments (CI / CD, SCM, Build systems, IAM).
• Owned and delivered end-to-end security work packages-from requirements gathering through to implementation and validation.
• Ensured systems were secure by design and met security and audit compliance standards.

Technical Experience :

• Applied strong software engineering skills with a deep understanding of security controls, secure design patterns, and the security development lifecycle.
• Designed and implemented secure capabilities within enterprise and hybrid cloud environments, especially around Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Contributed to secure developer environments, including Workplace, Build, CI / CD, and SCM systems.
• Experience with Bazel, GitHub Enterprise Server, GitHub Actions, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies.
• Background in embedded software development (C / C++ / Python) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) is a plus.
