Business Development Lead

32-40 hours per week

Your Impact as Business Development Lead

The Business Development Lead is a member of the Programmes & Partnerships team and is responsible for securing and diversifying ICM’s funding stream. Your key responsibilities include :

  • Identifying income-generation opportunities, both through existing relationships (UN agencies, private sector foundations, bi-lateral donors) and by finding new opportunities.
  • Contribute to development of ICM’s Income Generation Plan, including setting annual targets and ensuring they are met.
  • Produce high quality, tailored concept notes, proposals, applications and pitches to funding partners.
  • Develop and manage ICM’s funding pipeline

  • have strong expertise in identifying and developing funding opportunities in a dynamic funding environment
  • be a natural communicator with the confidence to pursue ambitious yet achievable targets efficiently
  • be able to work effectively, both independently and collaboratively with our leadership team, with building meaningful relationships with donors - quickly and authentically
  • operate with agility, think strategically, and will consistently convert connections into concrete results
  • Candidates must be based in the Netherlands and have the eligibility to work.
