What is the position? :
As our Demand Planner OHT, you'll be responsible for leading and executing of the demand planning process to ensure a timely and reliable 12-18 months rolling Demand Plan / Forecast for product line OHT (Off-Highway Tyres) in all European markets, by working closely with Sales and Product Marketing. This role supports informed decision-making and strategic planning, ensures optimal high level of forecasting accuracy, and drives business growth.
You will be based in Amsterdam as part of the European Supply Chain team and report to the Demand Planning Manager.
What are the responsibilities?
- Demand Forecasting for relevant product group OHT (Off-Highway Tyes) :
- Shape the statistical forecast within the network by using the knowledge of the past performance / events and the product phase in / out information, and providing relevant inputs to statistical engine
- Develop and maintain accurate baseline forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and bottom-up inputs
- Collect and challenge all contributions to provide a consensus forecast and prepare the analysis for the relevant S&OP-related events
- Conduct analysis of the forecast, past sales and demand to initiate actions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the process
- Data Analysis :
- Monitor, analyze and report demand planning and order wallet related KPI’s
- Analyze and interpret data related to sales, customer behavior, and market trends
- Identify patterns and anomalies to improve forecast accuracy and responsiveness
- Drive reporting and data analytics across the department
- Collaboration :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, production, and supply chain, to gather relevant information for demand planning activities (process) to ensure a on time and reliable demand plan
- Participate in the Regional S&OP meetings to ensure alignment between demand plans and operational strategies
- Support execution process within month capturing demand changes accurately and align it with the supply team / APS system
- Continuous Improvement :
- Regularly review and refine forecasting models and methodologies
- Implement best practices in demand planning and recommend process improvements

Hard skills and experience :Master's degree in Supply Chain management / Operations Management or in an adjacent area, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience7-8 years of working experience with 3-5 years of experience in Demand Planning and Forecasting, with hands-on experience with statistical forecasting techniquesHigh level of analytical skillsAdequate understanding of general supply chain activities such as supply planning, manufacturing and portfolio managementFamiliarity with ERP systems (SAP ECC preferred), advanced proficiency in reporting tools (PowerBI), Microsoft Excel, statistical tools and software, and APS software (SAP APO preferred)Fluency in English, knowledge of other European languages is a plusSoft Skills :Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and strong analytical abilitiesUnderstanding of the tire industry, market dynamics, and factors influencing demandUnderstanding and prioritizing customer needs in demand planning processes, and Outcome-focused mindsetProficiency in stakeholder management and Competency in process improvementWhy join us?
