With the coolest terrace right by the IJ, when the summer is full of sun and fun, and when the winter chill sets in, we transform into a cozy, winter stay-away. Vessel is the perfect hangout in Amsterdam to escape the hectic city buzz. Have a coffee, sip a cocktail, get some work done or sit back and relax. It’s all good. We are even ready for small and big events, as Vessel is a part of hotel The July BOAT&CO.

You can describe our fusion menu as bursting with delicious comfort food. Think about a pastrami sandwich with miso mushroom mayonnaise, veggie bowl with smoked vegan feta, Korean fried cauliflower - with an Asian twist - or braised beef with coconut. No-nonsense, no fuss. Meat, fish or vegetarian lover? We’ve got it covered!

The job

Our Vessel Waiter / Waitress ensures guests have an excellent experience by providing stellar customer service. You are for example responsible to greet our guests, take meal orders and ensure smooth communication between the dining area / terrace and kitchen .

What are we looking for?

For our Vessel team, we are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic team player, who loves to entertain guests! Our ideal candidate will have a confident, outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request. Experience is not necessary, just the will to learn and a friendly smile. We are able to teach you all the ins and outs of hospitality. Be prepared for a good time!
