As a field engineer, you use your theoretical understanding of engineering concepts and practical designs to install and maintain equipment, machines and systems. You offer services to clients in the field by overseeing operations and ensuring the machinery works as expected.
The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and possess excellent technical skills and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities :
- Monitoring onsite activities
- Ensuring that the equipment on site is in proper working order
- Preparing, updating, and maintaining onsite activity reports
- Conducting onsite research
- Coordinating field activities
- Performing diagnostic tests to rectify machinery errors
- Overseeing repairs and other technical tasks carried out by the Technicians
- Assisting in installing new systems
- Ensuring compliance to all safety and health procedures
- Preparing and presenting site activity reports to the Project Engineer
- Scheduling and performing routine maintenance checks
- Assisting in preparing budget and monitoring expenditure
- Communicating with clients to ensure improved customer satisfaction
