Overall Scope of Role :

Cluster Manager, In Venue Hospitality (IVH) Event Production is a key role with a primary responsibility for providing operational support across multiple IVH programs occurring within various Olympic Sporting Venues during the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Cluster Manager works closely with :

  • The Director of Event Production.
  • The 3 other cluster managers (to share best practices and problem solve)
  • On Location internal Functional Areas (FAs)
  • MICO26 relevant interlocutors, in particular, the Venue team.

The Cluster Manager will focus on delivering the most exceptional hospitality experiences for On Location guests inside Olympic Sporting Venues within the assigned cluster.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities :

  • Work in collaboration and coordination with Director, In Venue Hospitality to :
  • manage venue contracts.
  • deliver the best hospitality programs with as much consistency as possible.
  • update Director Event Production of day-to-day progresses and challenges; and request input and advice for key decisions.
  • Work in partnership with the commercial product architecture team to define and / or adjust service levels and manage budget per Olympic venue.
  • Manage overall project milestones and timelines.
  • Manage P&L and track expenditures.
  • Manage suppliers and vendors.
  • Attend all meetings (virtual / in person) in relation with his / her cluster and report on behalf of the Event Production team(s).
  • General Responsibilities :

  • Main point of contact on-site, representing the Event Production Team and the company.
  • Develop the overall operational planning at the Competition Venues.
  • Troubleshoot, anticipate and act proactively on event aspects of role.
  • Forecast, qualify and maintain budget.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Sports Management, Event Management or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing (and producing) events.
  • Experience in managing and producing events in Stadium and Temporary Structure environments.
  • Speaks and writes fluent business English; Italian is preferred.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, Smartsheets, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Confluence.
  • Highly organized and process oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain calm in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Good timekeeping and work ethic characterized by commitment, motivation, and energy.
