As a Group Lead at R&D, you will be part of a global environment where you can lead innovation with multidisciplinary business partners such as Marketing, R&D, Manufacturing, and Product and Advanced Services Sales in which we develop new industrial automation businesses resulting in services and products such as hygienic industrial PCs, virtualized

Your responsibilities consist

• Being responsible for the development of the next generation of Digital applications and integration with Industrial PC’s, Robotics, AI, Vision, etc;.
• Managing multidisciplinary development projects and
• Together with the product marketing team, develop and explore the business opportunities of our
• Aligning your vision, strategy, and roadmaps and working closely with Global Marketing, Key customers, Regional Omron marketing and sales colleagues, and Omron
• Being able to go from concept to product
• Working with international teams from the different Omron locations, both within Europe, USA, and in
• Become a champion of our product portfolio, technology & development

Who are

You have an academic or equivalent degree (minimum BSc) in Computer Science or You have at least 10 years of work experience in relevant fields such as software development, system validation & verifications, You have a vision related to Industry You are seen as the natural leader in a You are familiar with Agile development practices like Scrum and You are methodical in your approach, with excellent judgment and a result-oriented You are fluent in English and Dutch (both written and You are prepared to travel occasionally, e.g., to the various Omron locations, our technology partners, and key target
