Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Business Designer & Architect to lead the financial planning function within SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) . Acting as the linking pin between Financial Planners and IT Engineers , you will be responsible for translating business needs into scalable, high-quality SAC solutions. You will play a critical role in designing, shaping, and continuously improving SAC planning models and processes that empower data-driven financial decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

Serve as the bridge between Finance (FP&A teams) and IT teams , ensuring seamless communication and alignment.

Act as the business architect for financial planning in SAC – leading the design, configuration, and maintenance of planning models.

Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

Define and enforce SAC solution standards , best practices, and governance frameworks to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and scalability .

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement , optimization, and automation within planning processes.

Ensure the quality, performance, and usability of SAC planning tools through rigorous testing and feedback cycles.

Conduct training sessions and documentation for end-users, promoting user adoption and proficiency.

Actively contribute to the long-term roadmap for financial planning tools and digital finance transformation initiatives.

Requirements :

Education & Experience :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.

5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), business design, or digital finance transformation.

Proven experience working with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) , particularly in planning and forecasting modules.

Strong understanding of financial planning cycles , KPIs, and corporate performance management.

Technical Skills :

Deep expertise in SAC Planning, Data Modeling, and Story Building .

Familiarity with SAP S / 4HANA , BW / 4HANA, and integration with SAC.

Experience with agile delivery methodologies and business process design.
