Applications are invited for appointment as IT Technician (holding the functional title of Change Management Specialist) in the Sau Po Centre on Ageing within the Faculty of Social Sciences, to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants must have a bachelor degree in Information Technology, Social Sciences or Social Work with at least 1 year of relevant experience in enable change on implementing IT solutions to work settings. Competency in web applications, multimedia production is an advantage. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (fluency in Cantonese is required). They should also be a good team player with strong sense of responsibility, and good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
The appointee will support the implementation and change management of digital solutions developed for high-impact research on building a carer-friendly community in collaboration with our community partners for a territory-wide caregiver support project. The appointee will be responsible for enable IT solution implementation in daily operation through understanding users’ requirements, responding to users’ inquiries, incidents management, and development of relevant training materials and programs to optimize user experiences. He / She will collaborate with vendors on IT projects, and perform any other duties as assigned by centre director.
