We are currently searching for a ESG Manager for our headquarters in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

What will you be doing as an ESG Manager at MAG45?

As ESG Manager, you will lead the development, implementation, and management of MAG45’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies. Your role will focus on enhancing sustainability practices, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and improving the company’s societal and environmental impact. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, drive ESG-related projects, and oversee the QHSE activities to ensure our goals are met effectively.

You will report directly to the CEO of MAG45.

The key activities of the role :

Develop and implement MAG45’s ESG framework, aligning it with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

  • Lead projects aimed at reducing carbon emissions, enhancing energy efficiency, and improving waste management.
  • Foster diversity, inclusion, and community engagement while ensuring excellent working conditions and training opportunities.
  • Drive improvements in governance practices, risk management, and compliance with GDPR and other regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the collection and analysis of ESG data, ensuring accurate and meaningful reporting for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Manage and support the QHSE activities, ensuring employees are trained, motivated, and equipped to meet our sustainability ambitions.

The role is tailor-made for you if :

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree or technical education in Science or a related discipline is also considered).
  • You have demonstrated work experience leading ESG / sustainability topics or programs.
  • You have an in-depth understanding of material ESG topics that drive better business outcomes and view sustainable development as a strategic asset for business growth.
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • You are skilled at working across a complex set of stakeholders without formal authority and understand how to influence effectively.
  • You demonstrate cultural sensitivity and can work effectively with diverse cultures.
  • You are highly detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of interpreting ESG data to identify trends and implement improvements.
  • You are fluent in English (and Dutch)
