Summary
As an immersion specialist, you will participate in the team responsible for floating the concrete tunnel elements, equipping them in the port and then transporting and installing them at sea. In a first phase you will participate in the preparation of this crucial operation. In a second phase, you will be part of the operational team that removes the immersion work. During the preparatory phase, you are responsible for the development of operation manuals, drawings, test & inspection plans and contingency procedures for the Transport & Immersion overall scope, which extends from float-up of the tunnel elements to post-immersion works
You take the lead in the interface management with other departments within FLC regarding specific parts of the T&I scope
You are involved in the development of the Immersion Pontoon Control Systems and Tunnel Control Systems
You are involved in the development of work method statements, drawings and operation manuals for the Immersion Pontoon specific operations related to the overall transport and immersion scope
You liaise with the Marine Warranty Surveyor and develop work procedures, Go / No Go procedures
During the execution phase, you operationally manage the transport and installation of the elements
You are a qualified civil or industrial engineer with minimum of 10 years experience
You have prior experience with immersion of large structures or offshore lifting operations
You are a hands-on problem solver, not afraid of taking decisions
You are a team player with strong communication skills

You are fluent in English
