Job Description :

Our client, a global innovation leader in health technology and high-end consumer electronics, is seeking a Software Engineer to support critical development efforts in their embedded systems division. This contract role is based in Eindhoven, Netherlands , and is set to run until 31st December 2025 , with an immediate start .

In this role, you’ll be challenged to produce high-quality, tested, and documented software , contributing to both the design and architecture phases of embedded product development. You will work in an international, cross-functional setting that values technical depth and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop source code in C++ , adhering to internal coding standards
Estimate development effort and analyze run-time resource requirements
Participate in reviews and technical walkthroughs
Design and execute unit / component test cases
Document architecture and component-level design of embedded products
Identify and implement process improvements in the software lifecycle
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and international suppliers (Asia / Eastern Europe)
Operate in agile / SAFe environments with a strong emphasis on quality and compliance

Required Skills & Experience :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering , Computer Science , or related field

Minimum 2 years of experience (with Bachelor's) or entry-level with Master’s

Solid experience in embedded software development using C / C++

Hands-on knowledge of Git / GitHub and agile methodologies (e.g. SAFe)

Strong background in software architecture, testing, and quality assurance

Excellent communication skills, able to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments

Self-starter with a proactive attitude and strong quality mindset
