Who you are

Besides being a good Albert Heijn driver, you are also capable of lifting crates. You also frequently get in and out of the delivery vehicle. And you do all this while being customer-focused. You meet the following criteria :

What will you do

As an Albert Heijn driver, you ensure groceries are delivered with a smile to the customer's home. Your workday starts at the base, where you pick up your route and a fully loaded delivery van. Here your adventure begins. Each customer is associated with a unique number, which is also found on the crates in the van. Using the Zebra hand scanner, you know exactly where each crate is located. For your first address, you scan all the crates marked with the number "1." You place them on the hand truck, ready for delivery. At the customer's door, you ring the bell and bring the groceries to the door. Next you’ll check if the order has been paid for. If not, it's no problem; this can easily be done with your mobile card machine. With a friendly "See you!" you leave for the next customer.

Where will you work

As an Albert Heijn driver, your hard work ensures that customers are happy with their groceries. In return, Albert Heijn Online appreciates you. You can always grab a free piece of fruit and a free lunch if you drive an evening shift. After 13 weeks of work, your salary increases to €18.25 per hour! This includes 25 vacation days, holiday pay, ADV allowance, and a year-end bonus.

Want more challenges? There are plenty of opportunities for advancement. After some time, you can become a buddy, helping new colleagues settle in. Or you can grow into a plusser (senior delivery driver). In that role, you ensure that all delivery drivers are well-prepared.
