Underwriter Accident & Health - Netherlands

Zurich Insurance Benelux is experiencing continuous growth and we are currently seeking a talented and experienced underwriter with specific focus on Accident & Health to join our team. You will join a team of five ambitious underwriters, where in this role you will take ownership of the underwriting and sales process specifically for the Dutch market.

Additionally, if you have experience in travel or affinity non-motor, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the team on international travel and affinity deals for clients within the EER. This optional aspect of the role allows you to expand your expertise and contribute to our diverse range of services.

This is a fulltime hybrid role where you will be working from our office in the Hague, Netherlands.

Key Accountabilities :

• Independent development of the Dutch market for Accident & Health. With a focus on Group personal accident, business travel, affinities and tenders.
• Proactively seek renewal and new account opportunities and serve as key contact for assigned target accounts and brokers
• Provide an effective, timely and efficient account management service to partners and brokers
• Monitor underwriting processes in order to identify opportunities for improvement
• Actively cross- and up sell on accounts across A&H and other Lines of Business
• Comply with key regulatory and risk management responsibilities
• Assist the line of business manager in producing reports or completing specific projects, as required
• Maintain a flexible approach and adapt rapidly to changing work environments
• Be proactive and self-motivated
