As a Document and Data Controller within an offshore project environment, you will be responsible for monitoring, checking, and analyzing the quality of both structured and unstructured data and documentation. You will manage the relationships between data entities and report on data quality. Additionally, you will oversee the timeliness of data and workflow processes. The insights gathered from these activities will support the ongoing transition toward a data-driven way of working within the organization.
As the company is moving from a document-focused to a data-centric operational model, this position is a newly created role within the Project Management Office. During this transition phase, you will also be responsible for conducting quality checks on incoming project documentation.
Main responsibilities :
- Analyze and interpret data files, identifying missing, incomplete, or inconclusive information.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
- Manage data relationships and monitor data exchange cycles within systems such as ThinkProject and others.
- Control metadata provided by contractors and maintain connections between data and assets.
- Execute complex system changes while ensuring compliance with internal quality standards.
- Develop workflows, user guides, and participate in data quality initiatives and improvement projects.
- Perform quality checks on incoming and existing project-related documents.
- Identify bottlenecks, propose improvements, and provide support to the document manager.
Profile :
Relevant bachelor’s or academic degree.Proven experience and knowledge as a document controller, data controller or data analyst, preferably with 3+ years of experience.Strong skills in customer focus, quality awareness, result orientation, problem analysis, and progress monitoring.Persuasive, decisive, excellent communicator with strong planning and organizational skills.Proficient in MS Office applications, with experience in SharePoint and ThinkProject essential.Language skills : fluent English is mandatory, Dutch at B2 level preferred.In possession of a valid driver’s license and car, and residing within one hour’s travel time of Arnhem.Are you the motivated Document & Data Controller we’re looking for?
