As our Inside Sales Coordinator, you'll be the primary point of contact for our valued Japanese customers, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency and professionalism. You'll work closely with our Outside Sales team, playing a crucial role in converting inquiries into bookings and contributing to our overall success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Be the go-to person for Japanese customers, providing exceptional support and building strong relationships.
- Respond swiftly and accurately to customer inquiries, both for import and export.
- Prepare and deliver competitive quotations, negotiating prices to secure the best cargo mix and achieve targets.
- Manage rate filings and ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Proactively monitor vessel schedules and keep customers informed.
- Track customer performance, addressing any issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Identify and research potential new customers, both Japanese and non-Japanese.
- Provide administrative support to the Outside Sales team.
Skills and Qualifications
No relevant work experience required, experience in shipping, sales, or customer service is a plus.Solid understanding of shipping processes and terminology.Good English communication skills (written and verbal).Commercial acumen and customer-focused approach.Good communication, networking, and problem-solving abilities.Good planning and organizational skills.A proactive and innovative mindset.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Japanese communication skills are a plus.What we offer
