What will you be doing as a Move Operations Coordinator – Logistics & Resource Planning?
Working within the Global Operations team, we are currently recruiting for an Office-based Planner - Move Operations to join the business based in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Reporting to the Manager Move Operations, you will be responsible for :
Move Planning
Daily and long-term planning of resources.Maintaining contact with the Move Managers (internal clients) within the SIRVA Group.Maintaining contact with the Warehouse Manager when necessary in the logistical process.Maintaining daily contact with subcontractors.Maintaining disciplinary control of the operational staff.Instructing operational staff.Purchasing services of subcontractors and vendors.Regular review meetings with subcontractors and vendors.Purchasing goods and services from third parties in order to execute the assignments fully.To take over tasks within the departments when needed.Administration
Controlling all the assignments occurring before and after the move.Controlling all the completed tasks in accordance with the work instructions.Controlling the registration of the hours of the operational staff.Reporting sickness / recovery of staff to Manager Move Operations.Registration of absence of operational staff.Supply chain management activities, such as registering vendor performance data.Desired Previous Experience :
Intermediate vocational education (MBO) or higher.Preferably experience in an international or logistic environment.Excellent command of Dutch and English language; other foreign languages are an advantage.Great communication and interpersonal skills.Excel skills.Proficiency in MS Office, Dynamics and Navision is an advantage.A solution-oriented attitude.Good organisational skills and ability to identify priorities.Strong commitment to service delivery and logistics.Flexible, pro-active, team player, enthusiastic.Don’t meet every single requirement?
