AAR Aircraft Component Services – Amsterdam is seeking a dynamic HR Manager to join our team in Hoofddorp, where you’ll play a vital role in shaping the workforce behind cutting-edge aviation services.

About the Role

As our HR Manager, you will be the sole authority for all HR functions within the organization, overseeing both strategic and operational aspects. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will manage everything from HR strategy to the administration and execution of daily HR tasks. Your role will ensure a seamless, thriving work environment, driving HR excellence at all levels and supporting our teams to reach their full potential.

Your Responsibilities

  • Serve as the go-to HR leader on strategic, tactical, and operational levels.
  • Craft and manage a seamless employee journey from recruitment to retirement.
  • Maintain safe, secure, and inclusive workplace practices.
  • Ensure flawless execution of HR processes – timely, compliant, and effective.
  • Act as the company’s representative in discussions with trade unions.
  • Collaborate closely with HR teams across our UK and US operations.
  • Adapt and thrive in a fast-moving, aviation-driven environment.

What We’re Looking For

You’re a skilled HR professional with :

  • Extensive HR experience , ideally in technical, production, or industrial settings.
  • A keen understanding of Collective Labor Agreements (Metalektro preferred).
  • The ability to balance people’s needs with organizational goals.
  • A solid educational background (HBO-level or equivalent).
  • Strong business acumen paired with empathetic communication skills.
  • A pragmatic mindset and a great sense of humor .
  • Proven ability to manage HR in complex, high-paced environments .
  • Fluency in the Dutch and English language is a hard requirement.
