Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer - Freelance who is fluent in Dutch and English, flexible to travel, and capable of providing hands-on technical support. You will be responsible for assisting users with device setup, troubleshooting hardware / software issues, and guiding small groups (3-5 users) through structured IT walkthroughs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve laptop, desktop, and mobile device issues, ensuring minimal downtime for users.
  • Guide small groups (3-5 users) through walkthroughs for software installations, updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Enroll and configure devices using Microsoft Intune via IdAS (Training provided on-site before deployment).
  • Support end-users with basic to advanced IT issues , including connectivity, software, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Assist higher-level managers with IT-related tasks, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT incidents and resolutions using ticketing systems .
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security compliance and system updates .

Requirements

Fluent in Dutch & English (both spoken and written).

Strong understanding of laptop, desktop, and mobile device functionality .

Ability to follow structured walkthroughs and provide clear instructions to users.

Experience with Microsoft Intune enrollment via IdAS (or willingness to learn through training).

Presentable, professional demeanor – comfortable assisting higher-level management .

General IT knowledge : troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues .

Previous experience in IT Support, Service Desk, or a similar technical role is preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Windows 10 / 11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, VPNs, and basic networking .
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or Freshdesk) .
  • IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL, Microsoft Certifications, or CCNA ) are a plus.
