Job Summary

Responsible to support process optimization through the development and implementation of advanced analytics solutions. The Data Analytics Engineer I will help with the problem solving processes to identify and prioritize solutions ensuring and measuring business impact. The Data Analytics Engineer I liaise with subject matter experts to identify potential solutions and can implement non-complex concepts.

Responsibilities / Description :

Link conceptually the business and the site needs with opportunities to “translate” into analytics language for the data scientist team and the site subject matter experts supported by senior colleagues.
Drive optimization, testing and tooling of non-complex solutions or site-focused problems to improve quality and response in the real manufacturing environment.
Develop basic prototypes and concepts and support transformation into working, production rate, solutions at scale.
Participate and contribute in the problem-solving sessions with subject matter experts and data scientists to create and improve analytics models.
Build dashboards with basic user interfaces with common tools.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree (Chemical / Process Engineering)

5 years prior experience in manufacturing processes

Good analytical and quantitative skills. Exposure in working with large datasets, relational databases (SQL), and distributed systems (Hadoop, Hive) preferred

Basic understanding about waterfall and agile techniques

Training / Certifications :

Business Translator Fundamentals

Data Scientist Fundamentals

6 sigma yellow belt certification
