For our international client, REEL GmbH , we are exclusively looking for a (medior) MECHANICAL ENGINEER for its Aluminium business line, based in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands (5 minutes from Schiphol Airport)

To support the engineering team, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer. In this position you will be involved with engineering projects for Special Cranes that are used in the aluminium industry .

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Design of constructions
  • Member of the engineering project team and eventually act as lead engineer on a project
  • Decide together with the lead engineer or engineering manager, in accordance with the specifications, the main design
  • Responsible for engineering budget and timeline of the project
  • Responsible for delivery of the requested documentation and administration of the engineering part of the project

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in mechanical engineering of cranes and / or heavy constructions
  • Associate+ (MTS+) or BSc (HTS) degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction
  • Experience in leading the engineering part of projects
  • Proficient in English, written and verbal
  • Willingness to travel worldwide, occasionally
  • Team player and self-starter
