Voltiris’ spectral filtering technology enables growers to harness solar energy without compromising plant growth. This way they can save on their energy bill and reduce their carbon footprint. As we expand our installations, we are looking for electrical engineering enthusiasts to help us deploy our systems in greenhouses all over Europe.
Internship Description
As Voltiris' Electrical Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing the electrical infrastructure of our installations. You will assist in grid connection planning, technical documentation, and standardization efforts, working closely with project teams to ensure seamless deployment of our technology.
Your tasks include
- Design electrical diagrams, single-line schematics, and layout drawings for upcoming Voltiris installations using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) in compliance with electrical codes, standards and internal guidelines.
- Work closely with project managers, electricians, and suppliers to gather requirements and clarify design specifications. in team meetings and site visits to gain practical insights and apply them to design work.
- Identify opportunities to streamline Voltiris’ workflows and create standard templates and guidelines for future projects.
- Review and validate designs for accuracy, compliance, and best practices.

MSc. Level thinking and background in Electrical Engineering (or a related field).Basic understanding of load calculations, circuit design, voltage drop, grid balancing, and curtailment.Familiarity with CAD tools for producing electrical drawings.Knowledge of relevant codes and regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC, or local standards) is a plus.Fluency in English .
