DCS Engineer (ABB / Emerson) – Flevoland – FREELANCE Project

Our client is seeking a skilled DCS Engineer with expertise in ABB or Emerson Distributed Control Systems (DCS). In this role, you will be responsible for migrating an entire DCS system, ensuring a seamless transition while maintaining system integrity and operational continuity.

Responsibilities :

Lead the migration of the existing DCS system to a new platform (ABB / Emerson).
Analyze the current system architecture and design a detailed migration plan.
Perform system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compatibility with other systems and processes.
Provide support and training to operations and maintenance teams during the transition.
Ensure minimal downtime and disruption during the migration process.
Document all processes, configurations, and testing results.

Requirements :

Proven experience working with ABB or Emerson DCS systems.

Strong understanding of control systems, automation, and industrial processes.

Experience with DCS migration or system upgrade projects.
