Due to the departure of one of our colleagues, we are looking for an enthusiastic Engineering Lead in an annual contract position, with renewal intention.

The Make Asset Management (MAM) team introduces and maintains assets in the site. As part of the MAM organization, the Engineering team designs, introduces / modifies installations, equipment and facilities. To build up and strengthen our team, we are looking for hardworking and dedicated people.

MAM (MAKE Asset Management) is the organization where Innovation and Execution come together. In MAM Engineering, we deliver the systems which make the products. Core tasks of the MAM Engineering are project management, design, realization, qualification and modification of installations and equipment. Within MAM Engineering, the Engineering team is responsible for the technical scope of the project from feasibility to commissioning of installations and equipment working as part of a multidisciplinary project team.

In this role as Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for the management of the Engineering team, enabling the team to deliver the project portfolio and supporting operations.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities :

• Leading a team of engineering professionals, providing strategic direction, fostering development, and ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Ensuring the engineering resource management to meet the business requirements.
• Establishing, maintaining, and overseeing the engineering process for facilities, utilities, and equipment within pharmaceutical manufacturing and laboratory areas.
• Ensuring readiness of assets to be delivered on safety, quality, time and cost.
• Providing Leadership and direction to a team of engineers and SMEs to drive qualitative and balanced continuous improvement in the areas of safety, quality, and project delivery.
• Being process owner for technical safety and technical compliance processes including FMEA, Machine Safety, HAZOP, etc.
• Identifying technical solutions, skills & proficiencies to meet business needs.
• Training and guiding colleagues for engineering activities.
• Acting as an engineering expert during internal and external audits and inspections.
• Maintaining contacts with colleagues from other (large molecule) sites.
