Purpose of Position : The Supply Chain Planner acts as a link between all members of the supply chain team; including the production planner, transport planner and warehouse lead in supporting the day-to-day tasks of the Supply Chain Manager and the other members of the supply chain team. The supply chain planner liaises with other departments such as the quality and maintenance departments as well as the production manager in collaboration and problem-solving matters regarding the supply chain.
