Purpose of Position : The Supply Chain Planner acts as a link between all members of the supply chain team; including the production planner, transport planner and warehouse lead in supporting the day-to-day tasks of the Supply Chain Manager and the other members of the supply chain team. The supply chain planner liaises with other departments such as the quality and maintenance departments as well as the production manager in collaboration and problem-solving matters regarding the supply chain.

Activities

• Supply Planning : Translate the demand plan into an efficient supply plan, considering priorities, available capacity, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Production Management : Develop and adjust medium- and short-term production plans, factoring in orders, raw material availability, production capacity, and contract manufacturers.
• Cross-Functional Coordination : Collaborate with material management, production, suppliers, and Customer Care to optimize capacity and ensure timely deliveries to clients.
• Inventory Monitoring : Manage and monitor the availability of products and raw materials, maintaining stock levels in line with company policies.
• Analysis and Reporting : Collect, organize, and analyze data on orders, production, and supply; prepare summaries and explain deviations.
• Procurement Management : Review and complete purchase orders, manage confirmations and invoices, resolve supply issues, and maintain procurement records.
• Communication and Problem-Solving : Inform stakeholders about production and supply plans, address supply and delivery issues, and escalate complex problems to the manager when needed.
