About Studyportals.
We make a difference in the lives of millions of students and aim to leave the world a little better than it was. Every minute, 100 students worldwide use our platforms (like mastersportal.com) for free to discover the education options that suit them best. We also support educators in attracting a more diverse (international) student body and lowering dropout rates. By connecting people across cultures and promoting inclusive education, we help build a more tolerant, understanding, and connected world.
With a team of over 200 people from 40 different nationalities, we’re a truly international group—always ready to learn and always up for some fun.
Why are we searching for you?
Our goal is to help as many students as possible and give them the best support we can. This means showing them as many relevant study options as possible, keeping them engaged on our portals, and encouraging them to sign up for a free account so we can keep them updated on their favorite studies, available scholarships, great universities and suggest alternatives. We're searching for someone who can come up with effective ways to engage students and significantly boost our engagement and conversion KPI’s through an experimental data driven mindset.
What are your three main goals?
How does your team look like?
You’ll lead a small but talented team of 4 developers : Alexia, who serves as the team lead, scrum master, and front-end specialist, along with Georgiana, Jordi, and Alparslan, all focused on enhancing the user experience. Laurens and Andrei also support the team with user-experience tasks. You’ll report to Bianca, the Product Owner and UX Manager, who oversees all product development. Bianca reports to Emiel, the CTO. It’s a flat organization, able to quickly adopt great ideas and new business cases. You’ll also be part of a team of 4 Product Owners.
As a more senior Product Owner, you’re expected to help your fellow POs grow and improve their skills while refining Product Owner processes. Your team and responsibilities may expand in the future, depending on our growth plans. Plus, there will always be extra tasks and projects to take on!
