The Role
Trident Search is seeking a Sales Engineer based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This crucial role will be instrumental in driving sales success across the BeNeLux region by providing expert technical guidance, demonstrating the value of solutions, and forging strong, trusted relationships with prospective and existing customers.
You will collaborate closely with account executives and internal stakeholders, playing a key part in translating advanced technical capabilities into tangible business outcomes for clients throughout Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
Key Responsibilities :
- Pre-Sales Expertise : Partner closely with the sales team to thoroughly understand customer business and technical requirements, deliver compelling technical presentations, conduct tailored product demonstrations, and effectively manage proof-of-concept (POC) engagements.
- Trusted Advisor : Serve as a credible technical authority for prospects and customers, clearly articulating the platform's capabilities and demonstrating how it directly addresses their unique security challenges and objectives.
- Solution Architecting : Design and propose customized solutions that align precisely with client needs and ensure seamless integration of product offerings within their existing technology environments.
- Technical Advocacy : Act as a vital conduit of feedback from the field, diligently collecting and communicating customer insights on product features and requirements to internal product management and engineering teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work collaboratively with marketing, customer success, and other technical teams to support go-to-market strategies, facilitate smooth customer onboarding, and ensure overall customer satisfaction.
- Regional Technical Lead (BeNeLux) : Serve as the primary technical representative for the company within the BeNeLux region, based in Amsterdam, engaging directly with customers in meetings, participating in industry events, and contributing to regional webinars.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
3+ years of proven experience as a Sales Engineer or Technical Consultant, ideally within the cybersecurity domain, threat intelligence, or related security technologies.Comprehensive understanding of the current security landscape and practical familiarity with common security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEMs, SOAR platforms, TIPs, firewalls, endpoint security solutions).Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in Dutch and / or French (spoken and written) is highly advantageous and preferred due to the regional focus. The ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences is critical.Demonstrated success in delivering engaging technical demonstrations, effectively addressing technical objections, and guiding prospects through successful POCs.Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills, coupled with a proactive and consultative approach to customer engagement.Preferred Qualifications :
Prior experience working with enterprise or public sector clients within the BeNeLux region.Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms, data enrichment workflows, and security operations tools.Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or similar are considered a significant plus.Experience thriving in a dynamic, high-growth environment or startup culture.Apply ASAP
