We are looking for an Experienced Interim Payroll and Compensation & Benefits Manager to lead a payroll team and oversee compensation and benefits functions. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality of payroll operations and aligning compensation practices across various legal entities.

Key Responsibilities :

1 : Payroll Management :

  • Lead and manage a payroll team consisting of one team lead and four additional members.
  • Guarantee the accuracy and quality of payroll runs.
  • Perform thorough controls over payroll activities.
  • Serve as the interface between the payroll team and the finance manager to ensure alignment.

2 : Compensation & Benefits :

  • Oversee employee benefit insurances, especially pension plans across several sectors.
  • Align company rules and policies between different legal entities.
  • Update the company rule book as necessary.
  • Follow up on and implement legal changes in compensation and benefits.
  • Act as the primary contact for all compensation and benefit-related queries.
  • Qualifications :

  • Strong background in compensation and benefits, with knowledge of employee insurances.
  • Proven experience in managing a team and driving improvements in payroll processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a straight-talking, fact-focused approach.
  • Effective people management skills.
  • Insight into potential payroll issues and the ability to implement improvements.
  • Ability to manage multiple entities within a unified system.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience
  • Offer :

  • Location : Rotterdam on-site, one day per week home office
  • Duration : June - October for 32 - 40 hours per week
