Amazon Intern – Start August / September 2024

This internship can only be given to students with residence in the Netherlands.

About the job :

From our European Head office in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, you will be a member of the Amazon team located in our Ecommerce Department.

We are seeking an individual with a strong interest in all things digital commerce. The Amazon Intern will provide direct assistance to the Digital Business Marketing Specialist on a priority ecommerce account. They will provide support through various marketing and sales tasks & responsibilities as well as focusing on improving the onsite consumer experience. Onsite merchandising, maintaining and organizing key data files, updating digital marketing assets, as well as providing general support to the Amazon Team when necessary are a few of the tasks of this internship.

We are looking for students who have a strong passion for creating their own opportunities, seeking innovative solutions, and caring for the world around them. Having a diverse background and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, innovative environment is a plus.

You will be :

Improving the consumer onsite experience by actionable KPIs.
Identifying and remedying onsite listing errors to improve conversion.
Assisting in Amazon Brandstore, A+ content creation, infographics, and maintenance.
Assisting in new product uploads for future seasons by using Salsify.
Assisting in creating content and optimizing product detail pages.
Ad-hoc digital projects to assist the greater Amazon Team.

The ideal candidate :

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree. Applicant must be enrolled for the entire duration of internship.

Has residence in the Netherlands.

Is passionate about the outdoors and / or sports.

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially in Excel.

Is fluent in English (written and spoken). German language is a plus.

Has interest in digital commerce.

Is curious, self-motivated, and a quick learner.

Has a high level of communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills.

Detail oriented and strict with meeting deadlines.
