HR Representative

Intro

Are you an experienced HR professional fluent in Dutch, German, and English ? Do you thrive in an international environment and enjoy supporting employees and managers with HR matters? This part-time position (32 hours per week) offers a dynamic role within an international HR Services team, where customer service and compliance are at the heart of everything you do.

In this position, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality HR support across the EMEA region, ensuring seamless employee experiences and compliance with local legislation and internal policies.

Responsibilities :

As part of the EMEA HR Services team, you will be the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing clear guidance and professional support to employees, managers, and HR colleagues.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Responding to HR-related questions on topics such as policies, compensation, benefits, training, leave of absence, and employee relations
  • Processing employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, transfers, and terminations
  • Managing inquiries via a case management system and ensuring adherence to service level agreements
  • Coordinating vacation, sick leave, and other types of leave in compliance with Dutch labor law
  • Supporting performance management processes, employee relations cases, and internal investigations
  • Maintaining accurate HRIS data and ensuring confidentiality of employee records
  • Advising on local HR policies and supporting their consistent communication and enforcement
  • Conducting regular data audits and generating HR reports as required
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge documentation
  • Assisting with the translation of HR documents and policies
  • Supporting new hire orientations and onboarding sessions
  • Ensuring compliance with Dutch labor legislation and, where applicable, German HR regulations and Works Council procedures

    What You Bring :

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years (must) of relevant experience in HR, preferably within a shared service or international HR operations environment
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch labor law (German HR experience is a plus)
  • Fluency in Dutch, German, and English , both written and spoken
  • A proactive and customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments and regions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using digital HR tools and systems
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is required. German language skills are preferred — native proficiency is not mandatory; if you can communicate clearly and effectively in German, we still encourage you to apply
