We are looking for a tester with a clear approach and critical eye when it comes to our software. You actively participate in improving the quality of our product throughout the development lifecycle. At Keylane, we highly value the quality of our software and we expect our testers to do the same.

Key about your role

As a software tester at Keylane, you are responsible for the design and execution of test plans. You are also actively involved in the analysis of test results and the reporting thereof. You report bugs, test fixes and review design documents.

You determine in close cooperation with developers which testing is done in what lifecycle phase, and besides manual testing you also create automated tests for the User Interface together with developers.

Key about your team

The Claims team is responsible for all the core insurance processes surrounding claims handling. This is a very dynamic part of insurance software as claims are where our customers get their chance to prove their worth! The Claims team makes it possible to configure flexible claim report forms that can increase their efficiency with lots of automation. We also make it easy to communicate with all parties involved in the claim, and in the end make it possible to settle the claim in a way that makes their clients happy.

The team consists of functional designers, software engineers and test engineers and as a self-organizing scrum team, the team organizes their work in such a way that customer satisfaction is achieved through developing high-quality software in an optimal way.

Key about you

  • You have a bachelor’s degree or higher;
  • You are able to demonstrate software vulnerabilities and report them;
  • You like a challenge and are eager to come up with elegant solutions;
  • You work carefully and accurately and have excellent communicative skills, both verbally and in writing;
  • You have the ability to understand complex processes and to assess risks.

We consider it a plus if you :

  • Have experience with software developing processes;
  • Have experience with programming test automation scripts
  • Are familiar with the insurance industry;
  • Are familiar with data modelling, able to translate information into data structures.
  • A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and reference check are part of the application process.

  • A monthly gross salary between € 3,000 and € 4,500 based on 40 hours per week;
  • 8% holiday allowance of your total gross salary;
  • A profit share;
  • Travel reimbursement : a NS Business card or mileage allowance (€ 0.23 per km);
  • 24 holiday days (with the option to buy extra) and 7 inclusion days, which can be exchanged with fixed Dutch national holidays, allowing you to take them when you like;

  • A one-year contract that, subject to satisfactory performance, will be converted into a permanent contract;

If you work from home, you will receive a working from home allowance (€ 4 net per day) and internet allowance (€ 35 net per month);
