Want to be part of a Global Digital Safety team responsible for keeping Stahl, its employees and key business data globally safe? Then we are looking for you!

As a Global Information Security Engineer, you are part of a team which is responsible for Stahl’s global Digital Safety. You are responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining the mainly technical digital safety controls and services to protect Stahl’s information assets. Interacting with local and global IT professionals and the GRC Digital Safety Officer is part of your role.

What are you going to do?

  • Identify digital safety vulnerabilities and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Identify and implement digital safety measures to protect against vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Respond to digital safety breaches and incidents.
  • Develop digital safety solutions to address vulnerabilities within the system.
  • Conduct regular safety assessments and audits.
  • Collaborate with IT for remediation activities.
  • Ensure technical digital safety measures align with strategic goals.
  • Develop and deliver digital safety awareness and training programs.
  • Create training materials for employees on digital safety best practices.
  • Conduct phishing simulations and other exercises.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Manage and automate digital safety solutions to improve safety and efficiency.
  • Ensure continuous evolvement of digital safety systems to combat evolving threats.

What are you bringing?

  • High level of professionalism and maturity
  • Good verbal and written skills in English
  • Team player and eagerness to learn and develop
  • A positive, ‘can do’ attitude
  • Certifications such as Azure, CISSP, CEH, TOGAF or willing to get certified on some of these
  • Deep knowledge of IT Infrastructure technologies
  • Experience with project management structures
  • Experience in applying frameworks like NIST, ITIL, ISO27001 and COBIT
  • Good proficiency in Dutch and English languages (verbal and in writing)
  • Preferably living within reasonable travel distance from Waalwijk (NL)

    • What do we offer you? (in the Netherlands)

  • Salary from €4900 to €6000 based on 40 hours per week excluding 8% holiday pay (based on experience / skills)
  • A 13th month (8.33%)
  • You start with a one-year contract and if the collaboration is successful, there will be an extension for an indefinite period
  • This concerns a full-time (40 hours a week) position in Waalwijk
  • Travel costs : €0.21 per km for a maximum of 50 km one way when traveling to the work address.
  • Good pension scheme (employer contribution = average 19%, employee contribution up to an annual salary of € 50,048.00 (2024) premium-free, above that 7% employee premium
  • Possibility to work from home (1-2 days per week)
  • Home work allowance of €2 net / day
