Role and Responsibilities
The Training Manager is responsible for the delivery of training activities on his / her assigned customers, training programs, aircraft type and / or locations in the specific branch. The Training Manager shall ensure that the training is in compliance with the ATO approval, and ensure that the highest standards of safety and training quality are maintained.
The Training Manager ensures high standards around the delivery of instructional activities and is responsible for correct execution of all contracted training ensuring compliance with regulations. Leads the instructor team assigned and creates standardization between instructors. Act as SFI / SFE to conduct synthetic flight instruction when needed. Manages assigned program to insure maximum client throughput and revenue capture.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Ensure that training is carried out in strict adherence to approved Operations and Training Manuals, SOPs and syllabi
- Supports Manager Training Services in day to day business
- Project management
- Manage training and performance issues
- Ensure implementation and adherence to flight training standards
- Monitors progress of clients in training
- Interfaces with Sales / Customer Services / Scheduling to ensure customer satisfaction (conflicts, policies, procedures, scheduling problems, etc.)
- Conducts flight / sim instruction or examination, as necessary
- Report any training, safety and or compliance issue to the Deputy Head of Training, CFI, Deputy CFI, CTKI and or the Manager Training Services
- Report back revision needs on all ATO course ware and manuals
Requirements for the role
Bachelor degree5-8 years of relevant experienceShould hold or have held an ICAO license and Instructor Qualification.Hold or have held a professional Pilot License, Hold valid SFI or TRIHas knowledge of EASA regulationPrevious management experience in aviation training desirableComputer skills & knowledge of Internet applications : proficient in MS / Word, Excel and PowerPointResults oriented with an ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlinesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsWillingness to work flexible hours including public holidays and weekendsExtensive aeronautical and aviation training experienceScope to deal with complex problems unsupervised, Ability to maintain composure under pressureStrong focus on quality with a continuous drive towards process improvement & customer satisfactionAbility to concentrate and work in a fast-paced environment, accepts changes and adjusts accordinglyAbility to maintain strong customer orientation under adverse circumstancesPosition Type
