Philip Vermeulen is an innovative contemporary artist known for his large-scale, experimental, immersive installations that push the boundaries of perception, physics, and technology . His studio is a hub of creativity, where art, science, and engineering converge to create experimental art .

We are looking for a dynamic, well-organized Sales Manager to help expand the reach of our work, build strong relationships with collectors, galleries, and institutions, and drive sales growth .

Your Role & Responsibilities

As our Sales Manager, you will be responsible for :

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to promote the studio’s artworks and installations.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with collectors, galleries, museums, and corporate clients.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and negotiating deals.
  • Representing the studio at art fairs, exhibitions, and networking events.
  • Managing sales inquiries, contracts, and logistics for artwork placements.
  • Working closely with the artist and studio team to balance commercial goals with artistic integrity.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in the art world : Minimum of 2 years in an art gallery, art / design studio, or a similar environment.
  • A strong network : Connections within the contemporary art scene are a plus.
  • Sales expertise : Proven ability to generate leads and close deals.
  • Excellent communication skills : Confident in engaging with high-level clients and institutions.
  • Super strong organizational skills.
  • Very strict, organized, and a good planner.
