Duties and Responsibilities :
- Oversee the cost, scope, and schedule of cybersecurity projects for NATO.
- Coordinate efforts among NATO stakeholders and industry representatives to deliver capabilities.
- Create realistic and actionable project plans, securing approval from senior executives and governance bodies.
- Manage NATO Security Investment Programme (NSIP) projects with a focus on cybersecurity and significant procurement initiatives.
- Plan, allocate, and manage resources to achieve project milestones, implementing corrective measures when necessary.
- Develop project proposals, contribute to source selections, and ensure successful project completion.
- Collaborate with the Projects Portfolio Manager to define and agree on project approaches.
- Track project progress, monitor risks, and manage resources to maintain budget and timeline adherence.
- Regularly report project statuses to leadership, senior executives, and NATO committees.
- Understand customer requirements, deliver analytical insights, and propose solutions to resolve issues.
- Implement actions to mitigate risks and meet project objectives regarding scope, quality, schedule, and costs.
- Provide leadership and foster teamwork within the project team.
- Address performance deviations using risk management principles.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices within the NCI Agency.
Requirements :
Educational Qualifications :
University degree (Bachelor's or higher) in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Management, or related fields.Alternatively, 12 years of relevant experience can substitute for a degree.Professional Training :
Formal project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI PMP, DAWIA Program Management Level II).Experience and Skills :
Deep knowledge of the NATO Security Investment Programme (NSIP).Proven expertise in stakeholder management at the enterprise level.Recent experience drafting Statements of Work for competitive industry bidding, addressing both technical and non-technical project needs.Strong communication skills, including oral, written, and briefing capabilities.Proficient in tools such as MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project.Demonstrated experience in managing large cybersecurity or ICT projects.Proactive attitude in building and maintaining stakeholder trust.Security Requirements :
