FunctieomschrijvingUse of derivatives to mitigate price risk exposure (hedging) Supply of competitive feedstock to Braskem industrial plants, meeting quantity and quality requirements Compliance with all procedures and legislations covering Braskem feedstock business Working Capital through the purchase of feedstock with extended payment terms. Purchase and sale negotiations with counterparties, both for spot and term contracts. Competitive analysis of different suppliers and product origins Input trades correctly in the system and ensure good control of pricing exposure of the book Monitor trading flows and develop market analysis Develop the business relationship with key international suppliers like International Oil Companies, State Owned Entities, Trading Companies and Brokers Business Development initiatives such as new markets or streams. Supply and trading of gasoline and diesel to cover Brazilian domestic market demand Contribute on Planning meetings like S&OP and Trading Plan Represent the company in relevant feedstock market events Support Braskem Budgeting process Knowledge of the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical market, trade flows and arbitrages Trading and Commercial skills Understanding of pricing, risk and exposure Understanding of maritime logistics Technical knowledge on feedstock quality and yields Understanding of Braskem feedstock business Good communication skills Act like a product or business owner (a.k.a. entrepreneurship) English required
Purpose of Position :
Supply Braskem system with feedstock (such as naphtha, condensate, ethane, methanol, etc.) sourced in the international market. Guarantee a competitive feedstock book by interacting with market players and internal stakeholders, in search of synergies and optimizations.
Assist and support other team members with market analysis.
Propose and use derivatives to mitigate commodity price risk.
