Data Scientist (Operations Research)

Minimum Qualifications :

At least 4 years of professional experience in Operations Research within an enterprise or commercial environment.

Proficiency in Python, especially in object-oriented programming and clean code principles.

Strong experience with at least one OR solver (preferably Gurobi , or others such as CPLEX , COIN-OR ).

Experience with writing and deploying REST APIs.

Strong SQL skills (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL).

Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Familiarity with CI / CD concepts, Git, Docker.

Proficiency with IDEs and debuggers (e.g., VS Code, PyCharm).

Experience in developing and industrializing production-grade applications.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt style to various audiences.

Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently.

Desirable Skills :

Experience with simulation modeling.

Familiarity with containerization and deployment pipelines.

Experience with data visualization tools and libraries (e.g., Plotly, Matplotlib, Power BI).

Ability to justify design and implementation choices following software engineering best practices.

Working knowledge of testing methodologies for APIs and business logic.
