If you like the challenge of working in a dynamic, international environment with a focus on quality improvement and change, then our company based in the Netherlands offers a great opportunity for a Tax Manager at one of our Dutch entities (a boutique accounting firm providing full accounting services and with a large international client portfolio) within the international Group.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate and manage a portfolio of local and international tax compliance projects;
Compile and review tax filings – (corporate) income tax, VAT, wage tax;
Act as the first point of contact for Tax Authorities, clients, tax advisors, and other stakeholders;
Recognize opportunities for advice and expansion of service delivery including cross-selling to other areas of expertise;
Ensure files and filing are in line with local applicable guidelines and quality standards;
Expand and develop the current tax compliance department.

Key Requirements

Excellent language skills, both in Dutch and in English;

Practical and specialized knowledge in corporate income tax for local and international operating clients;

Analytical and client-oriented skills;

Quality and result-driven mentality with an open mindset for others;

Master's degree in Tax Law or Fiscal Economics;

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a tax compliance role – mainly corporate income tax – at a large tax advisory firm or in-house at a multinational company;

Experienced in and comfortable with operating in a local and international environment;

Available for 36 or (preferably) 40 hours per week.
