To expand our Sales team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and representative, full-time available Sales Manager Meetings & Events, who gets excited with bringing in large conferences and events.

The 5 star Mainport hotel Rotterdam is, combined under one roof with the 4 star Maashotel Rotterdam City Centre, the largest hotel in Rotterdam and one of largest properties in the BeNeLux region that offer 480 rooms, 2 restaurants, bar area, room service and 1.000 m2 of banquet facilities. The hotel is located in the centre of Rotterdam, at the riverbanks of the Maas and its well-known Erasmus bridge. Due to this location all hotel rooms of this hotel offers an amazing view on the skyline and city centre of Rotterdam.

Both hotels are under transformation at the moment, whilst continue the operations, as they will be rebranded as Curio collection by Hilton and Double Tree by Hilton in 2024.

As a result of this rebranding you might enjoy the best of both worlds once you start working with us! You will become a part of the Hilton Family and as this property is managed by Cycas Hospitality you are also a true Cycadette. This means you will have all the benefits of the Hilton Family and all the benefits of being a Cycadette!

As Sales Manager Meeting & Events you are responsible for the revenue of the Mice segment by generating sales leads at (international) exhibitions, entering into partnerships, contracting the local Meeting & Event business and organizing events together with the entire sales team for new and existing clients. You are constantly looking for opportunities to bring in new relations to the hotel and think creatively with clients.

You will work closely with your own (Corporate) Sales team and the Meetings & Events team under the supervision of the Director of Sales.

The perfect candidate :

• Is a real go-getter by nature;
• Has a passion for Rotterdam and like to share it;
• masters the Dutch & English language.
• has demonstrable experience within the events industry or hotel industry in a similar position;
• is a real team player who can also work independently;
• has a representative personality with organizational talent.

Als Sales Manager Meeting & Events ben je verantwoordelijk voor de omzet van het Mice segment door sales leads te genereren op (internationale) beurzen, partnerships aan te gaan, de lokale Meeting & Event business te contracteren en events te organiseren samen met het gehele sales team voor nieuwe en bestaande relaties. Je bent continu opzoek naar kansen om nieuwe relaties aan het hotel te binden en denk je creatief mee met opdrachtgevers.

Je werkt nauw samen met je eigen (Corporate) Sales team en het team van Meetings & Events onder begeleiding van de Director of Sales.
