About the role

In this role, you will take the driver’s seat for the development, collection and analysis of data for our KPI’s, internal and external reporting and implementation of improvement actions. You will act as a business partner for all operational data and KPI’s with our internal stakeholders and you will be the single point of contact and subject matter expert for global operations sustainability data.

Scope

Global scope, across all 5 product platforms. Tier 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 locations (approximately 280+ sites)

Key Responsibilities

  • Data collection, consolidation, validation, reconciliation and reporting of sustainability & environmental performance
  • Review the performance, highlight the key variances, spot trends and suggest mitigating actions
  • Manage global facility list and global operations sustainability information lists
  • Work with business teams to understand potential variances identified. Engaging with business heads / plant leaders as and when applicable
  • Preparing, reviewing and publishing monthly decks related to sustainability & environment
  • Collaborate with other teams to fulfil sustainability and environment data requests and / or to provide input to process flow documentation
  • Collaborate with OTBS team - Initiate Design / workflow changes; Co-ordinate with tool support team etc.
  • Actively propose automation and process improvement initiatives for enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of the activities
  • Implement smaller scale projects

Skills Required

  • Able to work autonomously (self-starter)
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and develop & align proposals
  • Attention to detail, without losing the overall picture
  • Sense of urgency and commitment to deadlines (a driver, not a passenger)
  • Can do attitude (solutions oriented and positive mindset)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Affinity with sustainability and understanding of key drivers
  • Ability to translate data into meaningful insights and tangible actions (analytical skills)
  • Collaborative mind-set with ability to get things done despite competing priorities of others
  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically strong skills in Excel. SAP experience preferred
  • Basic project management skills
  • Required experience

    Preferably 2-5 years’ experience within an operations environment and / or as data analyst (ideally for sustainability / environmental reporting at corporate level).

    Internal candidates preferred.

    Qualification

    Educated to degree level or ideally masters level in data related subject.
