Job Overview :
As a Sr HR Business Partner for one of the plants, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive HR support to our employees, with a specific focus on non-desk worker operator (500 FTE).
You will be responsible for advising line managers on HR policies, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with Dutch labor laws in a manufacturing environment. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to HR management and you will be part of the management team.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for employment life cycle from recruiting and onboarding, learning and development, performance management and engagement to offboarding. You will be working closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, strengthen corporate culture, support inner communication, increase productivity and retention. In addition, coordinating compensation and benefits, organizing trainings, taking part in the company’s HR initiatives etc.
Key Responsibilities :
- Taking the lead for the plant for HR related matters and being end-responsible of 3 Hr employees, such as an Hr Advisor, Generalist and an Hr Support.
- Develop and implement HR initiatives that align with organizational goals.
- Working closely with the line manager and you will be part of the Management Team of the plant
- Provide expert advice on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Takes care of industrial relations at plant level by providing guidance to employees and supporting line management in their relations with the Works Council and the unions;
- Performs human resources management, coaching and counselling, policy development and writing, problem and conflict resolution, investigation and corrective actions within the specific factory environment.
- Overseeing the recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
- Develop and implement HR initiatives that align with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with Dutch labor laws and regulations.
- Having negotiations and discussions with Works council / unions.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR advisory role in a manufacturing environment with exposure to industrial relations.Strong knowledge of Dutch labor laws and HR best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Proficiency in HRIS systems (Workday, Afas, Protime) and Microsoft Office Suite.Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
