Summary

As a Web Developer at Eagle Eye Networks, you will be responsible for managing and expanding Eagle Eye Web UI for the #1 video surveillance cloud worldwide on a daily basis. You will be developing new features around streaming video and audio, using the newest web technologies. Our goal is to have the best performing, most feature-rich and smoothest user experience web app to stream and manage tens of thousands of IP surveillance cameras. The web app you will develop will be used by tens of thousands of users worldwide.

As a Web Developer, you’re part of a scrum team using the agile way of working. You will work with other web developers, mobile developers, back-end developers, a product owner, and a scrum master to build a roadmap driving our web app to perfection. Besides actual web development, we want you to be involved in roadmap grooming, architecture for new features, and creating awesome UX / UI for our web-based interfaces. Experience in API integration is an advantage because you will be working with our cloud platform REST API. Our web application is Vue based, so experience with Vue is preferred.

Desired Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript / ES6;
  • Strong knowledge of one of the JS frameworks (Vue.js preferred, Angular, React);
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 (Sass desirable);
  • Experience with TypeScript is an advantage;
  • Experience with Responsive Web Design;
  • Experience with a design system (preferably Vuetify) is an advantage;
  • Experience with integration of REST APIs is required;
  • Knowledge of / experience with Docker is an advantage;
  • Experience with OAuth is an advantage;
  • Experience with video and / or audio streaming is an advantage;
  • Know tools such as Git, NPM, and Unit testing;
  • Capable of creating UX proposals and UI elements;

Personal Skills

  • Fluent in English (writing + oral);
  • Works well in a team and prefers working in a Scrum environment;
  • High accuracy and a great eye for details, focus on delivering error-free UIs to our customers;
  • Great affinity with implementing and co-creating UX / UI to achieve the best possible user experience;
  • A technical, proactive, ambitious, fast learning person eager to bring awesome features to our growing customer base;
  • Looks beyond your own field of expertise and is concerned about the product as a whole;

    • Work & Educational Experience

  • At least 2 years of continuous, strong, and practical Web Developer experience, most of which in a professional organization;
