Research Consultant – Strategic Market Access

Job Summary :
Our Research Consultant, Strategic Market Access, is an essential contributor to our team. They enjoy working across various projects with responsibility for delivering high-quality outputs. They support project leads in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, global organization, focusing on developing HTA dossiers and other strategic deliverables in the Netherlands and engaging in global market access deliverables.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Conducting and / or guiding and mentoring junior consultants on Dutch HTA submission projects and performing quality control of project deliverables :
- Developing pharmacotherapeutic dossiers
- Organising and chairing Dutch payer advisor boards
- HTA landscape assessments and strategy development
- Conducting budget impact analysis to support HTA submissions
- Adapting global health economic models to the local Dutch setting and conducting cost-effectiveness analyses
- Developing pharmacoeconomic dossiers
- Conducting and / or guiding and mentoring junior consultants on evidence synthesis and value communication projects and performing quality control of project deliverables
- Adhering to project budgets and timelines
- Supporting client interactions and outreach to ensure client satisfaction
- Assisting with requests for proposals and supporting the growth of the business through the development of strong client relationships
- Supporting the development of, implementation, and maintenance of internal processes and quality standards
- Keeping up to date with the latest developments in the field
- Contributing to thought leadership and publications
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
Master’s Degree or PhD in any relevant science, such as Pharmacy, Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Health Economics, Health Policy, Epidemiology, Public Health, or StatisticsExperience within the field of HTA and market accessSignificant hands-on experience in the development of Dutch HTA deliverablesExperience with contributing to evidence synthesis projects, including systematic and targeted literature reviews, feasibility assessmentsExperience with contributing to value communication projects, such as global value dossiers, value proposition development and testing, objection handlers, payer communication toolsDutch mother tongue and fluency in EnglishSolid analytical and statistical understanding with keen attention to detailProactive, responsive, and able to balance shifting priorities to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to budget, ensuring that expectations are exceededAbility to forge and effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholdersExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in Dutch and EnglishTeam player, but also able to work independentlyHybrid – In office 2-3 times per week and must reside within a commutable distance from the Rotterdam OfficeStrong organizational skillsAdvanced proficiency in MS Office programs : Excel, Word, PowerPointTravel Requirements
