This global pharmaceutical company produces, packs and distributes medicines for several purposes, such as contraception, fertility and anesthesia. The medicines appear as tablets, injection fluids, contraceptive rods and rings. The Technical Center of Excellence provides technological support to the manufacturing facilities in the North Brabant region. For the Polymerics section (10 Engineers) we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer, specialized in assembly and packaging.
Your Role
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll lead and contribute to impactful projects in an interdisciplinary environment. This position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge polymerics and packaging technology in a highly automated setting, focused on improving the pharmaceutical manufacturing process. You will :
- Lead and support investigations and changes to optimize existing automated assembly, packaging and extrusion lines.
- Conduct root cause analyses following deviations in the manufacturing process, implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Define, specify and oversee the procurement and qualification of new manufacturing equipment.
- Introduce new products, materials and components into production lines.
- Perform and report on process and cleaning validations to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Sciences or a related field.Minimal 2 years of experience in a regulated industry (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, food, automotive) and hands-on experience with assembly and packaging technology is required.Strong technical writing skills, particularly in equipment qualification documents and process validations within GMP environments.Fluent in English, preferably Dutch speaking, currently living in the North Brabant region, in possession of a work and residence permit (no relocation support offered).The offer?
