This role requires a strong blend of project We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the implementation of cutting-edge mobile in-flight entertainment (IFE) products. This role requires a strong blend of project management expertise, technical acumen, and customer-centric service. The successful candidate will oversee all phases of the product implementation lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution, exceptional customer support, and continuous system optimization. A hands-on technical background, including the ability to build complex systems like desktop computers without manuals, is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities : Project Management :

  • Lead end-to-end project implementation for a new mobile in-flight entertainment product, from initiation to deployment.
  • Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with customer requirements and company goals.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and risk assessments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, customer success, and product development.

Technical Expertise :

  • Provide hands-on technical guidance during product setup, testing, and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively, leveraging an advanced technical skill set.
  • Contribute to technical solutions and improvements, working closely with engineering teams.
  • Possess a deep understanding of system architecture and configuration, capable of assembling and optimizing complex systems with minimal guidance.
  • Customer Engagement :

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the customer throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular progress meetings, providing updates and gathering feedback to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver technical training and post-deployment support to customers.
  • Proactively address customer concerns and identify opportunities for enhancing their experience.
  • Continuous Improvement :

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency.
  • Monitor and evaluate system performance, recommending enhancements where necessary.
  • Who are you?

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Technical degree / qualification
  • Project Management qualification
  • Hardware experience is essential
  • Special interest in the aviation or IT sectors
  • You are flexible and open to international travel
  • Able to take clients' wishes and explain it in technical terms to IT team
