Role Overview
As the Marketing Events & Congress Lead (m / f / d) , you’ll be at the forefront of driving brand visibility and engagement across the EMEA region. This role focuses on managing third-party events and medical congresses from strategy to execution. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure flawless delivery of high-impact experiences aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of external events, sponsorships, and congress participation across EMEA
- Oversee all event logistics, from booth design to on-site coordination and post-event reporting
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align event activities with broader marketing objectives
- Mentor and manage the Event & Congress team, fostering a high-performance, accountable culture
- Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution and compliance with industry regulations
- Drive lead generation initiatives and analyze event effectiveness to optimize future campaigns
- Coordinate with vendors, speakers, and partners to ensure premium execution standards
- Champion knowledge-sharing and best practice development within the team
Your Profile
Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field5+ years of event and congress experience, ideally in MedTech, pharma, or other regulated industriesProven experience leading and developing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, international environmentExcellent communication skills in English; additional European languages are an assetHands-on, detail-oriented project management style with a proactive and adaptable mindsetStrong stakeholder engagement and vendor management experienceProficiency in MS Office; experience with Cvent or similar platforms is essentialWillingness to travel up to 50% across the EMEA regionWhy Join?
