Prime objective of the R&D group at Synaffix (Lonza Oss) is to provide best-in-class targeted delivery technologies, development of conjugation technologies, linkers and payloads. General focus is on cytotoxic ADCs for oncology, however other payload modalities are actively pursued, for application in immuno-oncology, targeted gene therapy or neurodegenerative diseases.
The “research associate ADC bioconjugations” supports the production and characterization of antibody conjugates (cytotoxic or other modalities) to contribute to achieving the company’s R&D objectives.
- Shows strong commitment to laboratory work and task delivery
- Possesses basic knowledge of biochemistry and / or protein science
- Familiarizes with the generation and characterization of antibody conjugates with a focus on cytotoxic ADCs
- Performs various purification and analytical techniques (including but not limited to SEC, IEX, affinity chromatography, SDS-PAGE, RP-UPLC, high-res MS) and has the ability to critically assess the results
- Performs cell-based and ELISA-based assays for functional assessment of antibody conjugates
- Acts as a strong team-player
- Has a responsible and conscientious character
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Adheres to company policies and procedures
- Communicates clearly in English both verbally and in writing
